About Us

Family Enrichment and Counselling Service Fredericton Inc. is a not-for-profit, community agency dedicated to providing counselling services, educational programs, and mediation in Fredericton and surrounding area since 1974. 

We offer professional and confidential services to support the individual, the family, the employer, and the community.  No referral required.  Most clients are seen within a week!

We provide services to: children (Play Therapy); individuals, families, and couples; to employees through EAP and to employers through on-site consultation and training; and to the community through personal and professional development programs and advocacy.

Our therapists and facilitators can help with challenges involving abuse (physical, emotional, financial), anger, anxiety, bullying, depression, separation and divorce, conflict resolution, fears, grief, panic attacks, parenting, relationships, self-esteem, stress, suicide, and more.

We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and managed by an Executive Director.

Professional Affiliations

Family Enrichment is a member of Family Services Atlantic and Family Services Canada, and Family Service Employee Assistance Program.

Services for Everyone

We use a sliding scale fee based on household size and income for counselling services.

The personal and professional development programs are priced individually and offered at a subsidized rate.

Mediation has a set fee of $100/hour.  Psychological services are available at $120/hour.

Specialized Training is tailored to the needs of the client and priced individually.

 
The Goals of the Agency are:

- To promote, encourage and assist in the attainment of fuller and stronger family life in the community.

- To provide educational services to the public in relation to the recognition and resolution of difficulties in family life.

- To provide programs, courses, projects, counselling and therapeutic services to parents and families.

- To co-operate with and assist other community service organizations having objectives similar to those of Family Enrichment and Counselling Services.
