Family Enrichment and Counselling Service Fredericton Inc. has been helping members of the Greater Fredericton Community since 1974. Our mission is to enrich individuals, families and communities through counselling, education and advocacy. We are a registered charity with an established track record of supporting those in need.
We are currently seeking volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors beginning in June, 2023.
Our ideal candidate:
• Brings their unique experience to the table (i.e. mental health, finance, human resources, education, etc.)
• Has an understanding of issues related to mental health in the not-for-profit sector
• Is able to attend monthly board meetings
• Is willing to take an active role in maintaining the financial health of our agency through fundraising activities

Family Enrichment offers individual counselling services with one of our two Masters level interns. Both of our interns are supervised by one of our fully licensed counsellors.
Individual counselling with one of our interns costs $55.00 per 50 minute session and are not covered by insurance. Our interns are available for appointments Mondays to Fridays from 9am-4pm (last available appointment of the day). Our interns will be in the office until mid-April 2023.

The Changing Ways group for men is back! We will be running the Changing Ways program from January 26th to March 30th at Family Enrichment. The group runs every Thursday from 3-5pm at our downtown office at 356 Queen Street. If you are interested in registering, please call 506-458-8211.

10 CURLERS FROM THE CAPITAL WINTER CLUB WILL HURRY HARD IN AN EFFORT TO CAPTURE THE LONGEST MARATHON CURLING GAME WORLD RECORD AND RAISE MONEY FOR YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH
60 Years in business is a long time. With that thought in mind 10 members of the Capital Winter Club have found the perfect way to celebrate the Curling Clubs 60th Anniversary...they are going to try and break the Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Curling Game.
The current record belongs to a group of curlers in Ontario. The record is 105 hours, 6 minutes and 51 Seconds. The Capital Winter Club team attempting to capture the new record consists of - Steven Burns, Chris Schnare, Chris Billings, Tyson Flinn, Wayne Tallon, Stephen Muzzerall, Kevin Larlee, Geoff Maybee, and Mike Jennings.
The benefits of this event will go to 4 Frederictonian high schools and Family Enrichment and Counselling Service. Family Enrichment will use the monies received for a free walk-in clinic for youth. More information will follow after the event.

Family Enrichment is offering phone and video counselling sessions for anxiety, stress, and panic related to the pandemic we are currently experiencing.
